Pathways: Giving Homes to the Homeless -- No Matter Who They Are
Got my first issue of Mother Jones in the mail today. Dang, that is one excellent magazine.
There are several really good articles in this month's issue, but the one that stands out for me is their piece on Pathways, a revolutionary program that proves that it's much cheaper -- and better -- to get homeless people into apartments than it is to let them die in our emergency rooms.
Even Bush admits that this is a very good program. And the results speak for themselves.
