Accused Butt-Raper Quits FDA Committee!
Days after The Nation went public with his ex-wife's story of their hideous marriage in which forced anal sex played a large part, hypocritical anti-choice Fundie Dr. David Hager is leaving the Food and Drug Administration's advisory committee on reproductive health. [UPDATE: The newspaper link cited in the URL above doesn't work, but this one will.] This is the guy who routinely voted down morning-after pills like Plan B. Now the Bible will be the only thing he bangs! Kudos to The Nation for making a difference -- even if the SCLM will never admit it. Additional kudos to Kos diarist RevDeb for keeping track of this story, which is how I found out about it.
