GOP Motto: Support Our Troops! (Unless, of course, the guy sending them out to fight is a Democrat...)
In the Revised Republican Rule Book, presidents -- especially Wartime Presidents -- are godlike figures whose every whim is to be treated as law, to whom incense must be burned and virgins sacrificed. And anyone who doesn't agree is accused of being a traitor, Not Supporting Our Troops, and every other dirty name they came dream up. But of course, they felt somewhat differently about presidents back in 1999.
