Why I Love Betty McCollum
It's because she does things like introduce resolutions calling for an immediate moratorium on "renditions" of prisoners to places like Syria and Uzbekistan, places where prisoners have even less legal protections than in Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo -- places where they can tortured to death with impunity. Thanks to muledriver at Booman Tribune for finding this. Betty wears her drum major uniform with pride!
