Happy Fourth of July!
In honor of the Fourth, let's look at: -- the real "Chinagate", which Bush has encouraged by putting us so deeply in debt -- a discussion of marriage, gay and otherwise -- a priest sex-abuse scandal in the UK (yes, Virginia, abusive priests aren't just in the US, despite what the Vatican would have us believe) -- a fight for the soul of America -- a recipe for broiled salmon with lemon dill sauce, which I intend to try later today.

The salmon store next door to Zen 32 is a great find. That is, if you have any money left after feasting at that lovely little restaurant, and/or hogging down some gelato at the place across the way.
