I Smell A Double Standard Here
Let's see: Sandy Berger makes copies of original documents he himself created when he was National Security chief -- and when he destroys them as he was asked to do, the Republicans have a hissy fit and start all sorts of lies up about it. Robert Earl shredded the originals of various national security documents so that nobody in the Poppy Bush administration would go to jail over Iran-Contra -- and Bush the Younger gives him a Pentagon job with a high security clearance. Say it with me now: It's OK, if you're a Republican.
