IOKIYAR, Part Two: NYT Op-Ed Edition
As Media Matters points out, while the New York Times' Op-Ed editor David Shipley says that Op-Eds must be fact-checked, certain conservative columnists are getting away with unbelievable bogosities. Either the NYT's fact-checkers are the laziest people on Earth, or conservatives are getting a free pass at the paper. And considering how the NYT punished both Paul Krugman and Salon for Krugman's daring to cite in good faith a Salon article by Jason Leopold that was later retracted under fishy circumstances, I'll vote for the latter as being more likely.
