The Shinola Test, Part Two

Earlier, I wrote about how the judge who sentenced a key Millenium Plot figure had made a point of mentioning how adhering to the rule of law was a better way of fighting terror than is invading a non-involved country on bogus pretexts. Truly, this judge can pass the Shinola Test. Today, Sid Blumenthal (via Josh Marshall), expands on the Shinola Test discussion by discussing the swift apprehension, within the context of a legal and not a military framework, of the persons behind the recent London bombings. Blumenthal contrasts the British and Italian methods of fighting terror, with the Bush method -- and how the British and Italians are doing a much better job than Bush precisely because they are using the gavel and not the grenade as their weapon of choice.
