TreasonGate: Fitz Moves To Avoid The Ollie North Gambit

Patrick Fitzgerald, as Kossack "Pontificator" notes, is moving to make sure that none of his targets in the TreasonGate case get to use the same maneuver that Ollie North's protectors used as a Get Out Of Jail Free card for him in Iran-Contra. Fellow Kossack Susie Dow explains:

Immunity was abused. Oliver North got off because Justices Silberman and Sentelle remanded his case based on the immunity. An incredible stretch given that almost all of the witnesses had testified to a grand jury BEFORE North even appeared in front of the Senate. see pages 256-260 of "Firewall".
