The New York Times Gets a Clue
The subject of this editorial in the New York Times is the inactivity of the House Ethics Committee, especially regarding Tom DeLay's string of offenses. But this observation applies to just about everything the Republicans have done since right about 1994:
The Republican majority is in dire need of a sense of shame.Sure is nice that somebody in the MSM has finally figured that out. Sure would be nicer if they followed up that realization by doing real reporting on the Republicans' shameless activities, instead of wasting column inches on Elisabeth Bumiller's twaddle about the "girls' nights out of the Washington elite.
