Oh, My!
Let's see: Deals with the Devil typically last for seven years, right? Judging from how rapidly BushCo's power base is disintegrating, I'm guessing that this means George W. Bush -- or C. Boyden Gray, or Karl Rove, or more likely the entire upper echelon of PNAC -- did the old blood-signature thing sometime around October of 1998. He's still in power, you say? Still ramming through bogus nominees for key posts? That might not be true for much longer, if this WP story has any basis in reality. Patrick Fitzgerald's name may well go down with those of Leon Jaworski and Sam Ervin as a true Hero of the Republic.
