Socialized Medicine: Good For Business, Good For People
Warsaw Station, writing from (where else?) Warsaw, Poland, has an interesting take on the Delphi bankruptcy -- and the need for socialized medicine. This is very important reading. Did you know, for instance, that the administrative costs of one typical American HMO are greater than those of the entire Canadian health care system? No wonder US car companies love Canada so much (well, that, and the excellent public schools they have).
