Iraqi elections: massive intimidation and even violence in Sh'ia, Kurdish regions

There's an interesting interview at KQED. Larry Diamond, a CIA analyst, says that the Shi'ite and Kurdish militias intimidated and beat voters.

OK, when shall we start counting down to the start of the Turkish invasion of Kurdistan? 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....

Once Turkey invades Kurdistan, all bets are off. Iraq will have officially dissolved into a bloody mess. And the mullahs will be the big winners. Most everyone else, including educated women, not so much.
 
Yeah, regional war is definitely a possibility. My guess as of this moment is that both Iran and Syria have concluded that Bush is so embroiled with other problems that their best interest lies in getting him to do something very stupid.

That probably won't prove to be hard.
