Democrats double their Senate membership!

From Roll Call via Josh Marshall Harkin Signs on to Censure Measure By Erin P. Billings Roll Call Staff Wednesday, March 15 Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) has become the first co-sponsor to Sen. Russ Feingold’s (D-Wis.) controversial resolution to censure President Bush for authorizing an allegedly illegal domestic surveillance program.
Comments:
It's tripled now; Barbara Boxer has also signed on.

Good grief. We'll have to rent a larger phone booth.

After the pounding the Senate Dems took on AAR yesterday, I'd think that a number would be thinking about retirement.

In another country.

I think we could easily raise the air fare.

I was expecting Boxer to show some spunk and Harkin doesn't surprise me.

We have no alternative but to work with the means we have. Unless that alternative is to just give up. I do, however suggest a massive campaign to tell them that we are disgusted with their apparent cowardace.

My Senator-letter asked whether the recipient was intending to wait until Bush marched a horse into the Senate and pronounced him a member of that body.

It really is getting that ridiculous.
