I think Schieffer deserves some sort of Junior Wanker Award for the tone he took in the interview, trying to play on Murtha's loyalty to the Marine Corps, for trying to discredit the well-known fact that the resistance is almost 90%-plus Iraqi, and so on.
Six minutes into the interview, he asks the first real question. And he lets the mask slip again later on, saying "What I worry about" is terrorists taking an American redeployment as a victory.
Murtha, of course, beat him senseless and showed how a prudent man speaking simply and directly outmatches a dozen speaking with guile and calculation.
