Li'l Dutch Specter

From Babington in The WaPo When Gonzales argues that the Constitution gives the president undisputable powers to conduct warrantless surveillance despite a statute aimed at requiring him to seek court approval, such an interpretation “is not sound,” Specter said in the interview. “… He’s smoking Dutch Cleanser.” Today, of course, Li'l Arlen swallowed the Kool Aid and said of course Bush can do anything under Article II (presumably section 2, Powers as Commander in Chief). Is there no act of self-abasement so vile that the Republicans will not do it? If it was legal, Dutch, why did he lie about what he was doing? And why are you lying about what you said just a month ago?
