Sounds About Right
I got this in an e-mail from a friend today:
I have a friend on wall street who told me he heard from an energy analyst that 38 dollars of every barrel of oil now can be directly attributable to our invasion of Iraq, which this guy termed "the greatest single economic disaster in American history."That sounds about right. And that's probably a big reason why Wall Street, after over a decade of spurning Democrats, now is giving to them more than they give to Republicans.
