So far he's the best of the possible field. As we always say, he's already been elected once.

I agree with olvlzl that Gore is the most competent person in the Democratic Party to snatch this nation from the jaws of disaster. There are many other good and decent people, but none who have the hands on experience of how to make the White House work.
But he has to speak out about 2000, to denounce it as a sham and a fraud. To promise to expose it and clean up the electoral system.
