Tester Shows 'Em How It's Done

To all you Nervous Nellie Democrats who think that going along with Bush and the GOP's trashing of habeas corpus will help you win in November, I give you the shining example of Montana's Jon Tester, who is leading Conrad Burns and doing it by exhibiting gonadal fortitude, as shown here (emphases mine):

They also disagreed sharply on the U.S. Patriot Act. Burns said it is needed to intercept calls placed to known terrorist phone numbers and gives law enforcement the same tools they use to fight organized crime. "I don't think Mr. Tester understands this enemy," Burns said. "We cannot afford another 9/11. I can tell you that right now. He wants to weaken the Patriot Act." Tester said the Patriot Act is eroding the very freedoms the terrorists are trying to take from Americans. "Let me be clear. I don't want to weaken the Patriot Act. I want to get rid of it," Tester said.
From now on, they're known as TESTERcles.

Comments:
If falsely accusing the hosts of committing heinous crimes just to provoke a reaction is "diverging from Group Think Mantra," I guess I'm guilty as charged. Spectator.

Then again, if we define making "baseless, idiotic accusations of deleting posts" to be "furniture polish," I now have enough to do the Baby Grand.

We delete very, very few posts. The best cure I know for Republicanism is for ordinary people to see the sort of shallow, arrogant, ignorant, and often hateful posts that Republicans so often make.

However, when we are subjected to vile personal abuse, well, welcome to the concept of private property.

If you lost a post, it wasn't me, and I'm almost certain it wasn't the other hosts.

But do feel free to whine on rather than discuss whether Tester's position on the Patriot Act is likely to help or hurt him in his Senate race.
